- No Homework Policy to Classes I and II

- Classes I and II are not given home work at any sort.
- In order to make the students joyful in learning the students are given works in work sheets which are to be done in the class rooms.
- Works like drawing and pasting pictures are done by the students at home with the help of parents and elders.
- It is not compulsory that the students must complete the particular amount of work, rather, they are evaluated by their personal disposition of doing the work.
- Those who are lethargic are motivated further to do everything sincerely, but they are not punished for being lethargic.
- 2. Brief Note on Innovative Practices

- Integrated Subject Skill Development (ISSD): ISSD is meant for classes VIII and IX.
- Through this method the students are learning to integrate the related knowledge from various subjects taught in the class rooms.
- They learn to understand that everything in the world are related.
- They also learn to understand that perfect knowledge is obtained with the coherence of closely related subjects and relative subject understanding.
- The students learn to understand coherently.
‘Orators’ for Linguistic Proficiency

- To enhance proficiency in English a team of ‘Orators’ are formed.
- They are given videos of famous speakers and public speaking techniques.
- Students record their own videos of speeches and send to school through social media (WhatsApp). Proper evaluation is done and further direction is given to the students. Body language and intonation of voices also are monitored and necessary corrections are given to them time to time.

- Note books except for math are avoided.
- One single rough note book also is allowed. Students are asked to bring the work sheet of that particular day.
- Once the signature of the principal is done the students can keep the worksheets at home.
- On the days of term/sem exams they can bring the particular subjects work sheets.
Joyful Exam

- In addition to written exam, there are Choral Pronunciation of Words (Classes I and II).
- Choral Reading (Classes I – IX)
- Oral Presentation using the system of microphone (Own words)
- Oral Presentation using the system of microphone (Memoized words).
3. Balancing the Load of School Bag and Home Work

- IT Syllabus is prepared and in the school itself and the notes are given as worksheets. More time is allotted for hands-on learning with the computer.
- General knowledge is prepared time to time and circulated to the students. No specific text is followed.
- General Knowledge is imparted through the daily newspapers circulated in the class rooms and the through News card.
4.Sports (Balanced Health)
Due importance if given for sports. It is understood from the perspective of mental and physical health. Therefore, sports/yoga/music are interchangeably given in the school timetable and done in practice accordingly.
- Sports Team is formed (every Tuesday and Friday evening coach is given to the students who have a sportsman spirit. (Physical health)
- A yoga team is formed (Both Physical and mental health)
- Music teams are formed (A, B, and C) (Mental health).

- Secured prizes in Kollam Sahodaya Level Sports Meet
- Amal Prahash of Class VII is selected for the team EDUSPO – Foot ball
- Attempts are taken to promote more students to EDUSPO – (under process)
5.Art and Education
Art integrated education promoted in the school. It is focused through drawing, acting, and designing
Drawing: Opportunity for all students is given through worksheets. Subject related drawing is encouraged. Other kinds of art work also done by the students and presented time to time.
Acting: Subject-wise group acting and mono acting are promoted to develop life skills of the students.
Designing: Students are motivated to do imaginary designs. Ex. Teachers Day Card
6.Extra-Curricular and Co-Curricular Activities
In order to inculcate in the mind of the students about different dimensions of education and life, several activities are done time to time.
